"Natural beauty to me means recognizing you need nothing more than the confidence and self love to rock the skin you're in. Everything beautiful is already within you and no cosmetic or harsh chemical that is furthest from its natural state makes our body or our mind feel good. Being intelligent enough to love your body by what you say to it, but also what you ingest or place upon it. Nuturing this self love by doing things that make us feel happy and feed our soul. All it takes is time to sit, listen, and check with our emotions."
Natural beauty to me means freedom. True freedom , as in being comfortable in my own skin. My intention is not to sound cliche, but for me it's to really feel beautiful without having to hide behind shades or feel comfort in someone's compliment. But to know that I am beautiful regardless of what I wear or how I fix my hair, natural beauty is more than that. Natural beauty comes from a place of knowing who you truly are at your core. I am beautiful because that's who I am . I am beautiful because God says I am & that's honestly the only truth I need to live by.
Walt Whitman says "The Soul is always beautiful—it appears more or it appears less—it comes, or it lags behind." That is how I feel about natural beauty. It's always there; even if it lags behind, your soul and your beauty will eventually catch up with you. For me that amounts to a feeling of wholeness.
Natural Beauty doesn't have a criteria. Women are naturally beautiful by simply being women. It doesn't have a formula; there is no race, no pigment, no eyes, no lips, no weight that defines beauty. Being authentically yourself is the biggest form of beauty there is. When you start to focus on material things, or the standards that soceity implies, you lose sight of what's standing in front of yourself, and there's power in looking into the mirror and knowing, there is only one you, one body, one face, to not obsess over, or put down but to simply nurture. The only perception of yourself that matters is yours, when you feed the light inside of you, others will only be able to reflect that back. Natural beauty, is you.
“Natural beauty comes from the inner you, is about loving and respecting your body. Appreciating the most imperfect parts of you that make you so beautifully genuine.”
"While some may embrace a bare face, there are others who play around with makeup to simply enhance their features. We all have imperfections so it's all about showing off your natural beauty without hiding behind the glam."
To me, natural beauty is all about what exudes from within. Because of that, I strive to internalize and manifest peace and joy daily and share it with those around me. I don't get it right every day. I'm not perfect. And that is okay; beauty is imperfect. Loving ourselves is the most beautiful thing we can do as women. Society gives us enough pressure. We wrestle to understand who we are and accept our past, present, and future. Beauty starts with the individual. Once you've accepted your beauty, no one can define it. It begins with acceptance and ends in love. Self-love.
"I understand natural beauty as a free and authentic celebration of one self. To me, natural beauty is all about letting out what is within. Its about being you. About proudly wearing your graces and flaws."
"Natural beauty comes from kindness and acceptance. Honor yourself, the way you look and feel, embrace it! Every beauty is unique and powerful."
"I get up in the morning and drink tons of water and a little bit of apple cider vinegar or lemons. It clears out your eyes and wakes you up."
"Finding products that honor the environment and honor nature is key, and also products that don't try to hide who I am, but just bring who I am to light."
"Being holistic or choosing organic it's about being a conscious person for society. It's not just about yourself or your own beauty, but making a step where you can make an impact."
"Natural beauty goes beyond what meets the eye. It’s about a mind-body-soul connection. About irradiating a light and energy that reaches everyone and everything around you."
